Oslo Chauffeur Service AS – Abbreviated as (OCS) in this document

General Terms

Your assigned chauffeur will always put safety and comfort first, drive at safe and sensible speeds in accordance with road conditions, traffic and the legal speed limits.
Whilst we do our utmost to ensure our drivers arrive at their designated pick up point at least 10 minutes ahead of schedule, you will understand that we cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances out of our control.
Clients are responsible for any damage they cause to the interior and or exterior of a vehicle on hire to them and will be billed accordingly for any repair or valeting required in order to reinstate a vehicle to working order – as well as any subsequent loss of earnings for the driver and the company for the consequence of the vehicle being off unavailable

Our Chauffeurs will choose the most appropriate route on the day unless instructed otherwise by the customer at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to change your vehicle or chauffeur at any time if necessary.
OCS vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims. However, customer’s properties are carried entirely at their own risk and OCS shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property. OCS will store any items found in vehicles at their office and will endeavour to inform the client that items have been found.
OCS and its chauffeurs have the right to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose behaviour poses a threat either to the chauffeur, the vehicle or any other passenger(s).
OCS maintains a strict non-smoking policy in all its vehicles, in accordance with the 2004 ban.
OCS, may pre-authorize a user’s credit card to ensure that there are enough funds to pay for the booking.
Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can affect the client’s’ statutory rights.

Confirmation:

Written confirmation by email is required for authorising or amending a booking.

Prices Quoted
All prices quoted are in Norwegian Kroner (NOK)

All our prices quoted are inclusive of 12 % VAT.

Payment Method
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express and bank transfer for approved clients.

Payment Terms

Payment Terms: non account customers

Payment in full must be received and cleared 24 hours before assignment start, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Any additional costs will be charged or invoiced after completion of assignments.

Late payment charges — OCS reserves the right to be paid all costs for recovering late payment from overdue business account customers.
This will include OCS administrative costs and any associated costs incurred with lawyers or debt collection agencies.

Payment terms: Account Holders / Contracted

Account applications are available and subject to a credit check before granting of a credit account facility.

Account customers will be invoiced after completion of each agreed period. Payment is required within the agreed time from date of invoice.

Failure to finalise the account may result in a withdrawal of account facilities and transport services.

Cancellation Policy

Sedans & Mini Vans (individual bookings)
A booking can be cancelled by the customer up to 24 hours before assignment start time,
and any monies paid will be refundable.

If a booking is cancelled by the customer less than 24 hours before assignment start full charge will apply.

Minibuses & Coaches (individual bookings)
A booking can be cancelled by the Customer up to 48 hours before assignment start time,

And any monies paid will be refundable.

If a booking is cancelled by the Customer less than 48 hours before assignment start full charge will apply.

Multiply Vehicle Bookings - Sedans, mini vans, mini busses and coaches
A Multiply vehicle booking (3 or more vehicles) can be cancelled by the customer up to 72 hours before assignment start time, and any monies paid will be refundable.

If a booking is cancelled by the Customer less than 72 hours before assignment start full charge will apply.

Wedding Car
A wedding car booking can be cancelled by the customer up to 30 days before assignment start time, free of charge.

If the wedding car is cancelled less the 28 days by the customer

The 25% deposit is non-refundable.

If the wedding car is cancelled less than 2 days full charge will apply

Suggested Departure Time:

OCS will advise departure and journey times after making allowances for the day of travel, including traffic, any road or tunnel closures and weather conditions at these times. OCS will not be responsible for client’s insistence for any variation to the recommended times or delay to agreed departure time, which may result in missed flights, connections or meetings or any other loss.

Parking / Waiting

We reserve the right to refuse to wait in un-designated areas or where a fine could be imposed. In circumstances where the chauffeur is requested to wait in one of these areas, then the hirer of the vehicle will be completely responsible for any parking fines incurred.

Unsociable Hours – Surcharge
Bookings that start between or continue into these hours 21.00 – 07.00 are subject to 20% surcharge.

This includes waiting charges, as directed services, fixed rate and additional stops.

Bank Holidays – Surcharge
All bookings on Bank holidays are subject to a 45 % surcharge.

We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel a Bank Holiday booking.

Fixed rate Airport transfer (International Arrivals)

Commercial Airport Arrivals include, Meet & Greet, VIP parking & help with luggage.

We also include 1 hour free waiting time from when the flight landed.
After 1 hour the vehicle will be dismissed as No Show, unless additional waiting is authorised.
Sedans & Mini vans: Additional waiting will be charged at a rate of NOK 145 per 10 minutes.
Mini busses and coaches: Additional waiting will be charged at a rate of NOK 175 per 10 minutes.

Fixed rate Airport transfer (Domestic Arrivals)

Commercial Airport Arrivals include, Meet & Greet, VIP parking & help with luggage.

We also include 45 minutes free waiting time from when the flight landed.

After 45 minutes the vehicle will be dismissed as No Show, unless additional waiting is authorised.
Sedans & mini vans: Additional waiting will be charged at a rate of NOK 145 per 10 minutes.
Mini Busses and coaches: Additional waiting will be charged at a rate of NOK 175 per 10 minutes.

Fixed rate City /Hotel transfer - Airport Departures

Pick up from Oslo City/ Hotel / Private Residence Include: Help with luggage.

We also include 10 minutes free waiting from agreed pick up time.

After 10 minutes the vehicle will be dismissed as No Show, unless additional waiting is authorised.
Sedans and mini vans: Additional waiting will be charged at a rate of NOK 145 per 10 minutes.

Mini busses and coaches: Additional waiting will be charged at a rate of NOK 175 per 10 minutes.

Fixed Rate: A to B - Oslo City Transfer
Our City Transfer includes help with luggage.

We also include 10 minutes free waiting from agreed pick up time.

After 10 minutes the vehicle will be dismissed as No Show, unless additional waiting is authorised.

Sedans and mini vans: Additional waiting will be charged at a rate of NOK 145 per 10 minutes.

Mini Busses and coaches: Additional waiting will be charged at a rate of NOK 175 per 10 minutes.

Fixed rate: Additional stops on Route
If additional stop on route is requested and not specified on the original booking a surcharge of

NOK 145 – (Sedans & Mini vans) - NOK 175- (Mini busses and coaches) may apply.

As Directed Service
Our As Directed Service has a minimum charge of 3 hours and is charged from garage to garage.

Included: rate is inclusive of chauffeur, vehicle and tolls.

Additional hours are charged in 30 minute segments.

Any parking charges – Not included.

Note: As Directed does not include multiple airport transfers.

Wedding Car
Your wedding car can be reserved far in advance of your special day – free of charge.
30 days or less we require 25% deposit, non-refundable.

Payment in full 48 hours before assignment start.

Tours in Norway
We offer a flat day rate for vehicle and driver, 300km and tolls.

Vehicle and driver will be available for a maximum of 10 hours per day.

Additional fuel charge over 300km at NOK 8 per km.

Chauffeurs room - half board + 2 meals. Not included.

Parking charges and ferry crossings. Not included.

Complaints
If the customer has any complaints regarding OCS the customer is encouraged to inform OCS as soon as possible, but no later than 7 days after the booking.

OCS will always try to facilitate an amicable solution to any complaint.
